CUR Session at the GSA Annual Meeting!

Hi all! Here is the info regarding the CUR-Geosciences sponsored Topical Session at the GSA Annual Meeting - please submit abstracts and join us in Denver!

CUR Session at Geological Society of America Annual Meeting

ABSTRACT SUBMITTAL DEADLINE: 10 July 2007

Don’t miss the opportunity to present your research at the Geological Society of America’s 2007 Annual Meeting in Denver! If you haven’t yet submitted your abstract, please consider submitting to our CUR-sponsored session:

T135. Early Undergraduate Research Experiences (Posters)

Research experiences in the first two years of college provide students skill sets needed to succeed in upper-level research. This session highlights classroom to independent research projects in community colleges to research institutions.

New for 2007! You may present two volunteered abstracts during the Annual Meeting, as long as one of these abstracts is a poster presentation (which our CUR session satisfies this requirement!). The limitation does not apply to, nor does it include, invited contributions to keynote symposia or topical sessions. In submitting a second abstract, the author recognizes that a scheduling conflict may result and that the Technical Program Committee will not re-schedule a talk or a poster to resolve such a conflict. The author is responsible for insuring that both presentations are given.

Please find the abstract submission form at http://gsa.confex.com/gsa/2007AM/index.epl. The deadline for submittal is 10 July, 11:59 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time. Please direct any questions regarding this CUR poster session to Laura Guertin uxg3@psu.edu
